this is $trictly 4 my T.E.A.C.H.E.R.Z

First of all, you may be wondering, “Um, what’s up with the name of your blog? I mean, ‘come on, $trictly 4 my T.E.A.C.H.E.R.Z’? What is that? You’re not even a Tupac fan.

To which I will of course respond, “No, I never really was that big into Tupac. But, hey, it was the first thing that came to my mind when I got the idea to start the thing. Soooo…yeah.”

Secondly, what does “T.E.A.C.H.E.R” stand for? Not sure exactly. To the six or seven of you who might actually read this, hit me up with any suggestions.

The idea is to post stuff related to “work”, in this case, stuff related to teaching English. Meaning, lessons plans, activities, and things of that nature.

In fact, I’d go even further, I’d say that the idea is to make a different kind of TEFL blog. One that has a little more, I don’t know, flavor. You know, some added extra flavor.

I mean, it’s cool, you know, that the students, like, learn and stuff. But I’m just trying to keep myself entertained in the meantime, you know, with materials that’ll make you laugh or just giggle. Or make you shake your head and say, “Damn.” You know, that kind of flavor.

Also, I’m hoping to maybe sprinkle some knowledge on folks, the way knowledge has been sprinkled (ever so lightly) on me. To keep the knowledge cycle sprinklin’ all around. So if you’re a teacher and you see something you like, you can use it, it’s cool. BUT PLEASE GIVE ME MY PROPERS IN SO DOING. If you cut and paste me you better be like, “Yo, I found this on $trictly 4 my T.E.A.C.H.E.R.Z. which is like the dopest English teaching blog ever.”

So welcome to $trictly 4 my T.E.A.C.H.E.R.Z. A TEFL blog with swag, if you will.

So my friend has been charting the progress of her own (third) language acquisition, from the perspective of an ESL teacher. Quite different, but nerds unite! http://chineasyornotsoeasychinese.blogspot.com/
